Mike Oz
Founder and Principal
Founder and Principal of both Capital Equities Group (CEG) and Capital Construction Management (CCM), Mike Oz, began his career in the Real Estate and Construction Industry almost 30 years ago. Initial endeavors in real estate brokerage and asset management laid the foundation and served as a springboard for the years ahead. During Mike’s tenure as an asset manager, he handled the acquisition of and subsequently managed properties totaling over 500,000 SF. Mike oversaw the design and construction of these properties and in 2002, founded his first company, Capital Construction Management.
Mike’s core principals of dedication, honor, and always thinking forward have been essential in his approach to real estate investment, management and construction. His focus of cultivating and maintaining relationships with brokers, tenants, investors, and clients forms the foundation of Capital Equities Group.
Ulyana Yosypiv
Chief Financial Officer
Ulyana Yosypiv, Chief Financial Officer at Capital Equities Group, has over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, specializing in Commercial Real Estate. She joined CEG in 2011 as an accountant and now oversees all financial and accounting functions, contributing significantly to the company’s success.
Her expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting has been instrumental in driving growth. Ulyana holds Master’s degrees in Finance and Elementary Education and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Computer Science, allowing her to effectively integrate technology into financial operations.
Outside of work, Ulyana is active in the Ukrainian community and enjoys volunteering for various causes. She lives in Stamford with her husband, two children, and their German shepherd, Alf. Additionally, she has a special fondness for Adam’s dog, Rhody, and enjoys spending time with her during office visits.
Oren Faiga
Facilities Manager
Oren Faiga, a construction project manager at Capital Equities Group since 2018, oversees construction, renovations, maintenance, and new developments. His dedication ensures exceptional service, quality operations, and superior property conditions.
Born and raised on a farm in Israel, Oren developed a strong work ethic and love for nature. After moving to the U.S. in 1986, he successfully founded three businesses: a construction company, a landscaping firm, and a specialized pond business.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Oren is a Krav Maga instructor, teaching self-defense to empower others with confidence and strength. He also enjoys outdoor adventures and appreciating the natural world whenever possible.
Maria Pastushenko
Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager
Maria Pastushenko is an accounting professional who joined Capital Equities as Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager in 2019 where she is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and processing of all financial transactions for the organization. A strong analytical and organizational skillset have allowed her to successfully manage the Company’s financial operations, contributing to ongoing growth and success. Underlying her experience is a Master’s degree in Audit and Accounting Studies earned from Ternopil National Economic University.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Maria is an avid traveler who enjoys spending time with friends and family. Maria takes pride in her Ukrainian nationality and values giving back to her community as a volunteer in a Ukrainian Youth Organization supporting young people in pursuit of various personal and professional goals.
